Bass Pro Shops Opens in Gainesville
After a long wait, Bass Pro Shops is fully open, including its boat center. As part of the acclaimed Celebration Point Development west of Interstate 75 and the new Butler Plaza retail expansion, this national retailer is expected to be a driver of traffic and an overall increase in rental rates for the area. In concert with a new Super Walmart, Sam's Club, Lowe's and several other restaurants and retail uses, the Gainesville commercial market is in the midst of unprecedented growth. I will continue to track the development of Celebration Point and its effects on the local and regional markets.
